packaging of tablets and capsules: in recent years, the packaging of tablets and capsules has been constantly replaced by plastic bottles, aluminum foil and other materials, but high-quality, light-weight and light-proof yellow or white glass bottles still have irreplaceable advantages and development space

powder injection packaging: powder injection is one of the five major pharmaceutical preparations in China, mainly various antibiotic drugs, and its packaging is mainly molded injection bottles and controlled injection bottles. At present, in the domestic powder injection packaging, molded injection bottles account for 70% - 80%, and controlled injection bottles account for 20% - 30%. The former is characterized by stable size and high strength; The latter is characterized by light weight and good appearance transparency. At present, controlled injection bottles are gradually increasing at home and abroad

water injection packaging: the main form of water injection packaging is ampoule. There are two kinds of curly neck easy to break ampoules produced in China: one is that there is a notch on the neck of the ampoule, and there is a color dot mark above the notch; The other is that there is a ring of low melting point glass color ring at the neck of the ampoule. Because the color ring has different expansion coefficient from the ampoule glass itself, it can produce local stress and is easy to break

at present, China is in a period of rapid economic and technological development, with the increasing export of drugs, and foreign businessmen pay more and more attention to the quality of glass used for packaging drugs. Although China's pharmaceutical glass production has achieved great development in recent years, there is still a large gap in China's pharmaceutical glass production compared with similar international products

it is mainly manifested in the following aspects: low product standard level, poor physical quality, unreasonable structure, low product grade and added value, which makes the contribution rate of medicinal glass to the pharmaceutical economy significantly lower than that of developed countries. Therefore, the production of medicinal glass should be in line with the international level as soon as possible in order to establish a research and development center with Qingdao University of science and technology. In terms of standard level, we should actively adopt international standards, comprehensively improve the product quality level, and establish and improve the standardization system of medicinal glass in China as soon as possible. In terms of types, the international standard ISO clearly stipulates that there are three main types of medicinal glass: 3. 3 borosilicate glass, international neutral glass and soda lime glass. Due to the limitation of China's technical level, it has been unable to produce international neutral glass with strong water resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance on a large scale. In the future, it should gradually transition and focus on the development of international neutral glass. In terms of material properties, the water resistance of international neutral glass and 3.3 borosilicate glass particle method can reach grade 1. Although the water resistance of low borosilicate glass particle method in China is mostly grade 1, and some are grade 2, the amount of alkali precipitation from the microscopic point of view is several times larger than that of international neutral glass. In terms of the limit of harmful substances, there are international regulations on the precipitation of as, Sb, Pb and Cd in glass in case of component deformation and wear. As the medical glass with the highest requirements for safety and health, China should limit the amount of harmful elements to ensure the safety of people's medication. The test method should be developed from qualitative and semi quantitative to quantitative and separate quantitative. For example, for the water resistance of the inner surface, the Discoloration method of methyl red acid solution was used in the past, but now the total alkali titration method is used. Internationally, Na, K and Ca should be quantitatively determined respectively

as a major branch of the pharmaceutical packaging industry, PEF objects printed in 3D in this study show higher chemical resistance than objects usually printed with materials. Pharmaceutical glass will still be an important pharmaceutical packaging material in the future and even for a long time.
